Principal's Message
Pattengill Community,
What an incredible week to be a Pattengill Penguin! This week has truly exemplified the spirit of our school community—one that celebrates learning, creativity, and togetherness. Our students showcased their talents, creativity, and hard work in a series of wonderful events this week and I am thrilled to share some highlights with you:
Talent Show
Our Talent Show was a huge success! Students from grades 3-5 amazed us with their diverse talents, from singing and dancing to magic tricks and musical performances. It was a joy to see our students shine on stage, supported by their friends and families.
Dad's Club Fun Day
Our students had a great time at the first-ever Fun Day hosted by the Dads Club! We look forward to doing it again next year (hint, hint ). Great job to our dads Eric Guenther, Andy Rockwood, Brett Reed, and DJ Rob Bass for organizing such a great event!! We appreciate the time and effort our dads put into making this event special for our students.
Kindergarten Extravaganza
Our kindergarteners put on a wonderful Kindergarten Extravaganza, filled with songs, dances, and art projects. Their enthusiasm and energy were infectious and it was heartwarming to see their growth and confidence.
1st Grade Readers Theater
The 1st Grade Readers Theater was a hit! Our young readers brought stories to life with their expressive voices and creative costumes. This event highlighted their reading progress and ability to work together as a team.
3rd Grade Zoo
The 3rd Grade Zoo was an educational adventure! Students researched and presented information about various animals, creating informative exhibits. Their hard work and dedication to learning were evident in every display.
4th Grade Wax Museum
Our 4th graders transformed into historical figures for the Wax Museum. Dressed in character, they delivered captivating monologues about the lives and achievements of notable individuals. This project showcased their research skills and public speaking abilities.
I would also like to extend a special thank you to our dedicated staff. Their tireless efforts and unwavering commitment to their students' academic success have made all these events possible. From planning and organizing to guiding and supporting our students, their hard work and enthusiasm have shone through. We are incredibly fortunate to have such an outstanding team of educators and support staff who go above and beyond each day.
I also want to thank all the parents and volunteers who helped make these events possible. Your support and involvement are invaluable.
Have a wonderful weekend,
Shamika

GiftCrowd is a crowd gifting platform that allows families to send a personalized message and contribute to a staff person's gift. Your contribution, combined with those from other families, allows recipients to choose gift cards to their favorite places. Crowd gifting makes it possible to show gratitude to more people and still stay within your budget. This is a great way to send appreciation and summer well-wishes to support staff, specials teachers, office or custodial staff, and of course, teachers. This, along with other ideas your Classroom Coordinators may have shared, is just an option and there is no expectation of participation.
Don’t forget! You only have until Monday at 9pm to send your messages and gifts through GiftCrowd! At that time, the recipients will receive their email notification and the event will be closed.
