Skyline College is a member of the Online Learning Consortium (OLC) is a community of higher education leaders and innovators that works to advance online learning through collaboration and innovation.
All faculty are eligible to create an account and use OLC Resources which include:
- The Online Learning Journal
- Publications, conferences, professional development, research, and expert guidance
- Professional Development, webinars, trainings
- Online teaching certificates, advanced certificates, and classes
- Self-assessment - A 50-standard rubric to help evaluate online courses

CTTL has also purchased workshop passes from OLC around topics related to culturally responsive pedagogy, student engagement, and equity as part of a grant. Faculty can sign up for a self-paced 3 hour course and be reimbursed for their time. For more information, contact Erica Reynolds.

Erica Reynolds - Erica is an Instructional Designer with over twelve years of experience integrating technology at both the classroom and school district levels. She enjoys collaborating with faculty to explore effective and inclusive learning environments for all of our students.
Terri Hannon - Terri is an Instructional Designer and comes to the CTTL team from EdTech. She is excited to be part of the team and ready jump in and collaborate with the team, and partner with instructors on the technology and design for their courses.
