Team Surprise: Congratulations on wrapping up the 3rd quarter of 7th Grade. We hope you have a well rested Spring Break. Please take the week to organize binders and replenish supplies for the last quarter. We suggest setting a weekly reminder to check your students' grades on Parent Connect.

Several Mears students participating in the Arctic Winter Games over spring break! Pius Hadjukovich and Henry Kendall are both on the Alaska u16 boys futsal team. There are lots of other sports to enjoy, games are free until the medal rounds. Tickets are available for purchase for the medal round and the opening ceremonies which include a parade of nations. The CDC has updated the Covid isolation guidelines. Covid will now be treated like most respiratory viruses (flu, RSV, etc). ASD’s guidelines can be found here. Detentions are 7:15 am-7:45 am, in Room 106, Tuesday-Friday. Please drop-off your student at the North Entrance to access the building. Security staff will greet your student and escort them to Room 106. Please contact AP Svendsen with any questions.
