Dr. Isett's Weekly Message
Week of March 25, 2024
Dear Colts Families,
This week, I want to emphasize the incredible impact your engagement has on our school community. Your active involvement in your students' academic journey is not just important—it's invaluable. Whether you're checking in on Parent Connect, communicating with teachers, or joining us for parent events, your participation is key to our collective success.
I'm thrilled to invite you to join us for Coffee with the Principal this Tuesday, March 26th, at 9:00 am in the library. It's a wonderful opportunity to connect, share ideas, and strengthen our bonds as a school family. Additionally, we're excited to welcome our current 7th and 8th grade families to our Open House, where you can visit your students' classrooms and witness the incredible work they've been doing.
Your feedback is important to us, and we encourage you to share your thoughts and suggestions via a survey (linked below). Your input will help us better serve our students and families, ensuring that we continue to meet your needs and exceed your expectations.
As we gear up for the next academic year, our current 8th grade students will have the chance to meet in person with ERHS counselors to discuss their proposed schedules. And for our 7th graders, remember that you have until March 31st to apply for program-based applications.
Lastly, on Monday, March 25th we will be conducting a disaster evacuation drill. Please discuss with your student the importance of taking these drills seriously.
Thank you, as always, for your unwavering support.
Warm regards,
Eva Isett, Ed. D.

Colts Way Reminder
Please remind your Colt to keep their hooves to themselves
As we approach the end of another school year, it's important to address a behavior that has been observed among some of our students: horseplay. While it's natural for students to feel comfortable around their peers, engaging in roughhousing or physical play can pose risks to everyone involved.
We encourage all our Colts to follow the COLTS Way and "Keep their hooves to themselves." This simple reminder emphasizes the importance of showing respect towards others and maintaining personal boundaries. By refraining from rough play, we can ensure the safety and well-being of all members of our school community.
