Well, we have made it to the end of the Fall semester and what a semester it has been. I am very THANKFUL for the opportunity to work with each of our LCMS staff and students. I want to thank each of our LCMS families for a smooth and healthy semester.

I hope that each of our families have a great Christmas holiday and that you have many blessings coming in the new year 2022.

December 14 and 15 - elective finals, core reviews (full day/regular bell schedule)

December 16 - core finals and exempt day for those qualifying

• Regular bell schedule
• ONLY EXEMPTION DAY if student meets qualifications

December 17 - make up day for those who have missed a final

• Early release day - 8:15am-12:45pm
• MAKE UP FINALS OR EXEMPTION DAY if student meets qualifications

Here comes Santa Claus, here comes Santa Claus, so war your ugly Christmas sweater!

Mrs. Hillstrom teaches Texas History and does an excellent job. She is known to transform her room into various battle scenes. She even dresses up as the various historians. Her students always enjoy her class. Thanks for all your hard work and making Texas History fun!

Mrs. Shipley teaches US History. Her students love the stories that she tells of our history. You can hear the passion she has for her love of teaching and the love she has for her students. Thank you for making history interesting to our students.

Congratulations on winning the Super Saturday Tournament this past weekend. Proud of your effort!

Our Middle School orchestra students shared some Christmas spirit on Friday with South and East students. So proud of this very talented group of students. Come out on Monday as they will have their annual Christmas concert.

Thanks to Trey Culver for coming to Lubbock-Cooper Middle School FCA and speaking to our students. he delivered a great message to our students.

FCA meets on Thursday mornings and everyone is welcome to attend.

Thanks to our Student Council members who gave their time on Saturday, December 4 to serve our community. Students took a shift and rang the bell for the Salvation Army. When you volunteer as a Bell Ringer, you do more than spread Christmas cheer, you give hope to those in need.

Lubbock-Cooper Fine Arts organizations invite you to the first ever Treasure Hunt Through the Arts! Each elementary campus, both middle schools, and LCHS will be showcasing more than 300 pieces of visual art, dance, theatre, vocal performance, and instrumental groups from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 22 at the PAC!
