The Unionville-Chadds Ford School District (UCFSD) is thrilled to be celebrating our centennial school year! We invite all members of the UCFSD community to be part of our celebrations.

UCFSD is proud to be the home of PIAA District 1 5A Boys Basketball Champions! This coveted title was last claimed by Unionville High School (UHS) in 1981. Go U!

Please join us in congratulating the three UHS students who participated in the UHS College Signing Event on February 7! Each has made the commitment to continue playing their sport at the collegiate level. Lily Holt will row at Sacred Heart University, Mason Coursey will play baseball at Penn State Brandywine and Levi Brawley will play baseball at Hartford Community College.

UHS superheroes raised thousands on February 9 for Special Olympics by participating in Pennsylvania's Polar Bear Plunge at Citizens Bank Park!

Students at Charles F. Patton Middle School were treated to a "Pawesome" day of wellness on February 9! The day featured dozens of activities, including a chance to play with puppies thanks to three organizations-- Paws for People, To Love a Canine and Angel's Retreat.

Bravo to the 120 Chadds Ford Elementary (CFES) and Pocopson Elementary (PES) 4th and 5th grade band members who performed at a University of Delaware (UD) men's basketball game on February 3. When the musicians weren't playing at halftime or during timeouts, they cheered and chanted the UD Blue Hens to a victory!

Unionville Elementary (UES) Valentine's Day celebrations on February 14 included activities such as solving a "Valentine's Mystery" by completing a math puzzle, using "Love Letter Adjectives" to group similar adjectives together and filling classmates' "Compliment Hearts" with kind words of encouragement. The students enjoyed learning through the holiday-themed activities and spreading kindness amongst their peers!

Thanks to DuPont, students of all ages could have some fun while exploring STEM. In addition to a keynote and panel led by the DuPont team, interactive sessions included the DuPont Experience, DuPont Virtual Reality, DuPont Innovation Center and so much more!
