Raider Reporter Reports!
Wrapping Up A Musical Week!
The week of February 17th ended with good tunes in everyone's heads — all thanks to our fantastic band, orchestra, and chorus!
The first concert of the week featured our 5th through 8th grade band and orchestra students, playing songs like Mechanical Monster, Shiver, and Sing, Sing, Sing — pieces that made the audience want to stand up and dance!
The next night, our 3rd through 8th grade chorus took the stage with a performance like no other. Each group performed a medley they put together themselves, featuring songs they enjoyed from musicals like Matilda and Moana. They also performed songs with a snowy weather theme, wrapping up the concert with a beautiful rendition of Carry the Light, performed by all chorus students. The chorus concert was an overwhelming success, with many positive comments shared by both audience members and performers.
Sadly, this week also marked the loss of one of our 8th grade students. Both concerts were dedicated to her memory.
Great job to all who participated in these stupendous concerts. Remember, if you need support, there are many people here to help you.

Restorative Practices
We are excited to invite the Maple Run community to join us for two informative sessions on restorative practices, hosted by Maple Run Unified School District with guests from Starling Collaborative. These sessions will explore how restorative practices can strengthen relationships, promote accountability, and create a supportive environment for our students, families, and educators. You’ll learn valuable strategies for fostering a positive, inclusive community both at school and at home.
Facilitators for these sessions include Jeff Rouleau, a Maple Run parent, teacher, coach, and Restorative Practices Trainer, and Stacie Rouleau, a Maple Run parent, teacher, coach, administrator, and Restorative Practices Trainer. Camille Koosmann, representing Starling Collaborative, is a restorative practitioner, trainer, and coach who formerly led the Restorative Practices in Schools program for the Franklin Grand Isle Restorative Justice Center.
Light food and childcare will be provided. Register today to be part of this important conversation! For more information, contact Alexis Hoyt at ahoyt@maplerun.org or 802-370-3946.
