• Congratulations to the Bella Vista Band & Color Guard on their amazing performances at Saturdays WBA Competition. They earned five “1st place” trophies in all! Way to go Broncos!!!
• Bella Vista’s new Cell Phone Policy started Today. Students will be asked to check in phones at the beginning of each class and phones will not be allowed to go with students to the bathrooms.
• Bella Vista’s Fall Choir Concert is TONIGHT at 7pm in the Cafeteria! Come show your support and hear some amazing voices! Entry is free but donations are welcome!
• The office gender neutral bathroom will continue to be CLOSED through Wednesday for maintenance repairs.

• Girls Volleyball have home games TODAY against Woodcreek High School. Come show your support and help celebrate Senior Night. Frosh at 4:30pm, JV at 5:30pm and Varsity at 6:30pm.

• Come out TONIGHT to watch and celebrate Senior Night at Girls Flag Football home games against Woodcreek. JV starts at 6pm and Varsity at 7pm. Go Broncos!
• This week BV Boys Basketball practice will be held Thursday, October 24 from 6:30pm - 8:00pm and Saturday, October 26 from 10am - noon.
• Boys & Girls Soccer Tryouts start November 4th at 3:45 in the stadium. Bring water and wear shorts, t-shirt, shin guards and cleats.
• BV Boys Basketball Tryouts begin Mon., November 4th.
• Varsity 3:45pm (Small gym), JV 6:30pm (Large gym), Frosh 6:00pm (Small gym)
• REMINDER: All students wanting to play winter sports must be registered and cleared through Sportsnet. Physical Forms and instructions are available in the front office.
  

Highlights for Fall Sports Teams:

• Cross Country - Competed in Clovis (Oct 12) and Granite Bay (Oct 19 - Final CVC Meet Oct 31 at Phoenix Park. Varsity Boys - Finished 2nd at Clovis with Griffin Keel leading the way finishing 19th
• Field Hockey - competed at Chico (Oct 7) Varsity Lost 1-2 and JV Lost 0-3
• Flag Football Varsity finished 1-win and 3-losses over their last 4 games; JV finished 3 losses and 1-tie. JV Record 1-11-2, League 0-9-1; Varsity Record 8-10, League 3-7
• Football traveled to Christian Brothers last week. Varsity lost 7-33 Record 0-8, JV won 14-6; Record 4-3-1, Freshmen played Bear Creek and lost a close one 18-22; Record 0-7-1
• Girls Golf had their Senior Night last week and lost a close one to Woodcreek
• Girls Tennis lost two matches 2-7. Record 2-9
• Girls Volleyball V/JV lost two matches to Inderkum and Christian Brothers. Frosh beat Rio and Inderkum and lost to Christian Brothers Frosh Record 3-7, League 2-4; JV Record 0-11, League 0-7; Varsity Record 6-16, League 0-10
• Water Polo competed in their League tournament losing close games. They play again on Tuesday at Rio Americano. Varsity Boys Record 8-12; League 2-4, Varsity Girls Record 5-17; League 0-5, JV Boys Record 2-7; League 0-2, JV Girls Record 5-5; League 2-1

• AP Students wanting to take the May AP exams must register by Wednesday, November 6 at 11:59pm. All exam registrations must be completed through Total Registration, cost per exam $105. Any financial concerns, please email Mrs. Sowa.
• PSAT Testing: 10th & 11th grade students - Wednesday, October 30th
• Testing begins at 8:30am. Anyone late will not be able to test.
• 12th grade students arrive at 11:00am for important Senior Meeting in the large gym
• 9th graders should arrive at 11:40am
• All students will begin Regular Classes at 11:50am
• Attention Juniors & Seniors! ASVAB Testing will be held Thursday, November 14 in BV library from 11:00am - 2:00pm. Sign up in the College & Career Center for a pass to attend.
