Greetings Richardson Families,

It’s hard to believe we’re already nearing the end of November. This time of year encourages us to pause and reflect on what we’re grateful for, and I’d like to share a few things I’m thankful for this year. Thank you to our incredible students who bring energy, joy and curiosity to our school each day, our dedicated teachers and staff who pour their hearts into creating meaningful learning experiences, and our supportive families who partner with us each day.

I am also thankful for our PTA for supporting our school in raising funds to support the cost of field trips - see below for their current fundraiser, Fort Smith Popcorn. This fundraiser runs until December 3rd. Last week, our 2nd graders had a wonderful field trip to the Bell Museum. Thank you to our chaperones and teachers for making this experience possible.

Looking ahead, we’re excited for a short but fun-filled week! We’ll end our short week with All-school BINGO on Tuesday afternoon. This event always brings joy and laughter to students and staff alike, and it’s a great way to send everyone off for the long weekend.

I hope the upcoming break allows you time to enjoy priceless moments with your loved ones, whether it’s sharing a meal, playing games, or simply enjoying each other’s company.

The Richardson Elementary PTA is having a Fort Smith Popcorn Fundraiser! The fundraiser runs from Friday 11/15 - Monday 12/3. Order forms must be turned in on or before 12/03 to ensure delivery before winter break!
