Happy Holidays!
Wishing you a joyful and restful holiday season filled with love, laughter and cherished moments. It has been a very successful start to the school year, and we are grateful for your ongoing support and partnership.
We look forward to continuing our learning and fun together in January.
Happy Holidays and we will see you back on Monday, January 6th!
Pyjama Drive Update
A message from the principal of the school we donated our pyjamas to:
"On behalf of our staff, students and families, I would like to send a huge THANK YOU to your community. The PJ's you have donated will make a huge difference for many of our families in the upcoming holiday season and make our PJ day on Friday a joyful event. Many students (not knowing it is coming again!) are sharing how much they loved the PJ's on their desks last year. I cannot wait to see their joy on Thursday. Please share our appreciation with your community. Wishing you all a wonderful winter break filled with joy and peace."
Way to go, Dolphins! Thank you for your incredible generosity! Together, we have shown the true spirit of community!
Holiday Clean-Out for a Cause!
This holiday season we are partnering with Goodwill to turn your purged holiday donations into support for our grade 8's! It's simple: for every bag of clothes we collect, Goodwill will generously contribute $4 to our fundraising efforts to support grade 8 graduation and the year end trip. Here are the details:
1. Items that we can collect include all gently used clothing, outerwear, footwear and accessories from infant to adult size.
2.Donations can be delivered in any size bag. (Goodwill will estimate how many full garbage bags we have received. There is no disadvantage to bringing in smaller or partially full bags or boxes.)
3.Please share this information with your friends and family and recruit their donations as well!
4.. Bring the donation bags to John Dearness on Wednesday, January 15th from 8:30-9:30am, 12:00-1:00pm or 3:30-5:00pm.
5.. Know that your donations will not only support Goodwill's missions but also directly help our grade 8's in their fundraising efforts.
All items left in our Lost and Found will also be donated to this cause!
Thank you for your ongoing support!
