MT's purpose is to educate and empower students to become responsible citizens.
A Few Words From the Principal
As we continue to integrate technology into our learning environment, we want to remind students of the importance of using digital tools responsibly and ethically. While platforms like Google Docs and Slides can enhance collaboration and creativity, they must be used appropriately and for academic purposes only.
Creating shared documents to collaborate on non-academic tasks like being unkind to others or to engage in dishonest practices, such as sharing answers or copying work, undermines the values of integrity and learning. Our goal is to foster a learning environment built on integrity, responsibility, and respect. We appreciate your support in reinforcing these expectations at home and helping us promote responsible technology use that supports student growth.
Thank you for being our partners in learning.

Screenager
A presentation for parents and children concerned about mental health in the digital age.
Millions of young people experience high levels of stress, anxiety, and depression. In this context, we follow physician and filmmaker Delaney Ruston as she explores innovative solutions for enhancing adolescent well-being in the digital age.
During our time together, we will view the film, which serves as a resource to uncover essential skills for building stress resiliency within schools and our community. This film is primarily intended for children aged 10 and older but may also be suitable for younger audiences with parental guidance.
When: April 24 5:30-7:30 pm

From Student Council
Rock-Paper-Scissors Tournament - April 17th
Thursday, April 17 is a schoolwide rock-paper-scissors tournament. All students will receive a beaded necklace as they enter school in the morning. Students with beads can challenge any other student with beads to a quick round of rock-paper-scissors outside of instructional time. The losing student must hand over one strand of beads to the winning student. You must have beads to continue playing.
Lucky students will accumulate beads as the day goes on. Students with five or more beads can even challenge a teacher to play! Student council will sell additional beaded necklaces for $1 each during lunch, and students can buy up to five necklaces for additional opportunities to play.
Anyone with 15 or more necklaces during WIN will report to the commons, and we'll winnow these skilled students down to one schoolwide champ. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places.
Community Service
MT wants to recognize students who make a commitment to serving the community. If your student has logged 50 or more service hours this school year, they are eligible for the President's Volunteer Service Award. Please submit logs to Miss Cassell by Monday, April 21. (Student council students going for this award only need to bring their updated service log to their grade-level sponsor by that date.)
