The Snow Forecast #11
December 1, 2024
Welcome Back!
It's December! It is also a quick turn around until our next vacation- only 3 weeks! We will have a lot going on! Hopefully everyone had a relaxing week off (and you enjoyed the snow?). ❄️
The day before vacation we had the Turkey Trot, which had to be moved inside due to the rain. Each class had 15 minutes in the gym instead of 30 minutes outside. Students had fun walking/jogging around to music, then enjoyed apples as a healthy snack afterwards. We had many parent/PTO volunteers helping out to keep it all organized. Thank you to everyone who helped!
See pictures below!
A reminder as we return to school that drop off begins at 8:40. Please do not have your child enter the playground area before this time, as there are no adults on duty. Thank you!

PBIS Family Survey
This survey only takes a moment to complete and gives us valuable information about the Mary Snow climate. This will be the last opportunity this fall to fill it out. We will do the survey again in the spring before school is done to compare with fall results. Thank you for taking the time!
PTO Thank You!
🍕🥯🍩🥙
We had 2 very successful days of conferences this past Monday and Tuesday. The PTO was very generous and provided staff with breakfast and lunch/dinner for both of those days. We enjoyed Bagel Central, pastries, pizza, and Fairmount Market salad & sandwiches. Thank you for keeping us fed! We so appreciated it!
Attendance Matters!
November Attendance:
There were only 15 school days in November. Our attendance for the whole school was 94.09%. The goal every month is 95%. If we do not meet this goal at the end of the year, we are red flagged by the Department of Education.
So far, we are not hitting the mark, with our average daily attendance since school starting, being 94.39%. Research tells us that being in school matters for your child. Please, unless they are really sick (see the graphic below), send them in- we love having them here!
