Week in Review
We had half the student population out for a wide range of reasons. Overall, the week was typical but we did have a unique feature to cap the week and that was Riyanne and Dawson coming to KLS to support Dene Games on Thursday and Friday afternoon. They supported the students for two afternoons. The sessions were amazing and the students challenged themselves to learn a wide range of Dene Games. I've heard that there is going to be an opportunity for the community and students to engage in Dene Games during a tournament sometime in July. These opportunities are held about once every two years so it might be something truly worthwhile for the community to engage in as our students are quite impressive at the wide range of Dene Games they attempted under Dawson and Riyanna's guidance.

This Week in Detail....
This week is Mental Health Week. We will be supporting awareness during this week through a wide range of activities.
On Friday we have planned to go to Dec Gah School to engage in On the Land Learning with students. I will give you more details about this activity after I speak with the principals on Monday.
Linda is supposed to come by Thursday morning to support fiddling at the school. These sessions are always lively and I do hope she is able to make it!
