Thank you to those who attended our first social of the school year! We hope everyone who joined us yesterday had fun and got to meet some new choir friends. A special thanks to our choir officers who worked hard to plan the event!

Our Fall Concert is coming up sooner than you may think (Sept 26). Don't forget to secure the following uniform components listed below. Our concerts are major exam grades for choir students, and being in the correct uniform correlates with their grade. If you need any assistance in finding the correct items, please email Mr. Stultz or Mrs. Berger.

• Dresses - black, closed-toed, comfortable dress shoes are also needed for our performances. Flats or character shoes are preferred.
• Tuxedos - a white tuxedo shirt, black dress shoes, black bowtie, and black cummerbund are also needed for our performances. You can get most of these items in a bundle on Amazon HERE.

The Woodlands High School District Choir Workshop is tomorrow at TWHS 9th Grade campus from 8:30am-2:00pm. We have a good handful of kHS students attending this workshop and we encourage any of our students auditioning to attend this event if they can. You can register HERE.

We are now 2 weeks away from District Auditions! Parents, we will send out an info letter next week with details concerning times, what students can bring to this audition, etc. There will be no bus to and from KHS to Oak Ridge High School on September 16. Students must provide their own transportation. If you need any assistance in organizing a ride, please reach out to Mr. Stultz.

District Barrier Auditions (9/12-14)

Each singer auditioning at District must sing off their music for Mr. Stultz and/or Mrs. Berger. To ensure we can hear every singer participating, barrier auditions may occur during class time in addition to being held after school.

Our Handbook/Calendar Form and Fee are Due on September 14. We still have a few students who have not turned in their Handbook/Calendar acknowledgment form. If you have not done so, please see Mr. Stultz or Mrs. Berger during class to take care of that.

The mandatory choir fee ($55) can only be paid through school cash. If you have not done so yet, we still have a little under two weeks to take care of this.

September 11- Chorale Rehearsal - 5-7:00pm Choir Room

September 12 - Klein5 Community Night Performance (Chamber Only) - 4:30-5:15pm Klein HS

September 14 - Choir Fee Due (in school cash)

September 16 - District Auditions - all-day Oak Ridge HS
