Physical Education Classes & Sneakers
Our students do a lot of different types of moving during their physical education class! The best way to keep everyone safe is for students to wear sneakers. Please check the Unified Arts schedule to know which days students need to wear sneakers!
If you have sneakers you would like to donate to a borrow bin, please leave them with the front office.

Volunteer Opportunity - Four Winds Nature Program
Do you have a student in PK through 4th grade? Or perhaps you are a community member looking for volunteer opportunities working with children? This program utilizes a "teach the teacher" model during training workshops provided by a Four Winds Educator. In the workshop volunteers encounter first hand experience with the materials and lessons that are presented to children. We discuss ways to tailor each lesson to the learning needs of younger and older students, and how to utilize the outdoors as a teaching resource. These two hour workshops are held once a month and then volunteers coordinate a mutually agreed upon time to teach the lesson in their assigned classroom (typically 1 hour).
Workshops and topics for this year are as follows.
8:45 - 10:45 am in the Outdoor Classroom
Date Topic
9/4/2024 Insect Life Cycles
10/2/2024 Traveling Seeds
