the outsiders theme songs

the book "the outsiders" is about a 14 year old boy and his two brothers soda who is (16) and darry who is (20) and they have recently lost their parents in an accident. All three of them are greasers there all young men who live on the east side and are poor.The greasers rivals are the "socs". Who are the opposite of them and rich and live on the west side.

The reason why I chose this song because when johnny and pony boy chose to go home after the have been at the church for a few weeks. johnny wants to go home to confess to his crime.

This the moment when Ponyboy was getting drowned so Johnny killed Bob to protect his buddy from dying.another reason because how the greasers are together,and in the song it says; When the road looks rough ahead And you’re miles and miles From your nice warm bed Just remember what your old pal said Boy, you’ve got a friend in me.

This song really goes well with the rumble when they go to beat the Socs, I think that was the within the greasers, they seemed really pumped.And they were really happy they beat them,

This songs really goes with Darry. Darry because hes sorry he hit Ponyboy and he wants him to come back. And hell forgive him and act like that never happen.

I choose this song right after We Will Rock You because now they`ve beaten the socs and the other group that came to fight, and they feel good about their win.
