First Week of School Reminders
Every Student Matters, Every Moment Counts!
Welcome Back to School!
The administrative team and school staff of Conway Middle School look forward to welcoming students tomorrow. We want to ensure all students and families are prepared as we work to "Build Greatness" for the 2024-2025 school year.
Parents, please practice patience and know that we will do our absolute best tomorrow and in the weeks ahead to take care of every student. It will take time for procedures to become routines for students and staff. We believe in the power of school and home working together to ensure the success of our students.
With appreciation,
Regina Treadwell Pertell, Principal
Every Student Matters, Every Moment Counts!

School Wide Rules and Procedures

Safety and Security
- Clearbook bags (Per HCS ) As part of our ongoing efforts to prioritize the safety and security of our schools, Horry County Schools (HCS) is implementing additional protocols and procedures for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. We know it takes a team effort of our staff, students, and parents working together to provide the safest environment possible. One of the new safety protocols is the requirement that all students who choose to carry a backpack must use a clear backpack, starting this upcoming school year.
- With the start of the 2024-2025 school year, Horry County Schools will use OPENGATE weapon detection scanners to screen all students and guests including all elementary schools.
- Schedule changes
- Please note per school policy there will be no schedule change requests from parents or students. Students were allowed to select two exploratory classes in the spring of last year.
