Re-Enrollment in January
All Zion families were emailed an electronic document to state your intentions for the 2025-2026 school year. Our re-enrollment process is automatic, but we are asking each family to sign the document by January 31 to help us plan for the new admissions season February 1. We do anticipate a large number of applicants with many being on a waiting list since our school is at campus capacity. Please note that per school board policy, students who withdraw from Zion after January 31 will be charged a $500 withdrawal fee, and the fee increases to $1000 June 1.
New Applications
Current Zion families who want to enroll siblings for the upcoming year will be able to submit early applications starting Monday, January 27. Incoming kindergarten - 8th grade students will be tested by administration before admission.
Candygrams!!!!!
Send sweet treats to your ZLS friends this Valentine’s Day! For $2 each, 8th grade students will deliver candygrams to your favorite students and staff! Forms have gone home with your students or orders can be submitted through the following link: https://forms.gle/xBjrfR7tFAJ1doqT9. Payments can be made through Venmo (@zlscandygrams) or by sending cash/check to the school office in a sealed envelope through FEBRUARY 9th. All proceeds benefit the 8th Grade D.C. Trippers. Thank you for your support!
MARK YOUR CALENDARS!!
It's time for our annual PTL fundraiser. PTL sponsors only ONE fundraiser per school year to raise money to support all of the activities that PTL sponsors. We work with a company (APEX) that helps us raise funds while we help the kids develop skills to be Christian leaders now and in the future. This year our big event is scheduled for THURSDAY, FEB. 27. Preschool - 3rd grade are scheduled in the late morning and 4th-8th in the afternoon. All of the details will be shared with you as we get closer to the event. Parents are always welcome to come watch and/or help out with the event. This year's event will be an OBSTACLE COURSE. Mrs. Stoneburner is the contact person for questions.

ISAIAH 1:17 HOUSE WINTER CLOTHING DRIVE
We are partnering with the Isaiah 117 house to get a collection of NEW winter coats, jackets and hoodies to residents in need. They can range in size from infant/toddler to teenagers. The donated garments can be brought up to Zion on January 26th and February 2nd. Any Zion Lutheran school families that wish to support these efforts can drop the winter clothing off at any point during the week in the church office. We give thanks for your generosity in supporting this worthy cause in Williamson county. Zion Mission Board
Bible Reading Challenge
Have you ever closed your Bible and thought “what did I just read?” Starting January 12, we will partner with The Bible Recap to read through the Old Testament. The Bible Recap is a chronological reading plan with a daily podcast that highlights and summarizes the Bible in an easy-to-understand way. It will not only help you read scripture but help you love reading it. Click the button below for the reading plan or paper copies are available in the Lobby and Narthex.
