Thank you for another great week! The 2nd Grade Musical was so much fun to watch. Great job Mrs. Young and Second Graders! We also want to congratulate our Teacher of the Year (Beth Elseroad), Rookie Teacher of the Year (Nancy Martinez), and our Support Staff of the Year (James Valderas)! We are so proud of them and are blessed to have a campus full of amazing educators. Have the BEST weekend!

Parker's will donate a percentage of special breakfast themed meal combo sales to BISD schools. The cost of the meal combo is $16 and includes a donut or waffle sundae with a scoop of ice cream and choice of toppings PLUS a hot chocolate float.

The school with the highest participation will earn a FREE Ice Cream making class for a selection of their teachers and staff (up to 16 participants). Be sure to let the staff at Parker's Ice Cream know which school you are representing — you can even show your school pride with some spirit wear or school colors!

To help make check- in faster, you can pre-register here. There will be a separate line for those that pre-register so that you can quickly pick up your name tag and enter to enjoy the morning!

Herff Student Council is happy to partner again this year with "Good for the Sole"! This is a charitable organization dedicated to collecting, cleaning, boxing, and giving away gently used pairs of sneakers to children in need. This organization was founded by one of our very own Boerne ISD students, Noah Patton a 2024 high school graduate! On November 1st there will be a donation bin on our campus where you can drop off gently used shoes! Thank you in advance for your support of this extraordinary project!

Every Wednesday our students have an opportunity to purchase ice cream for $1.00 during lunch. As a reminder, money for ice cream purchases can be put on your child's lunch account; in other words, you don't have to send cash 🙃

Our students and Herff cafeteria staff need your help in order for this process to run smoothly. We need one volunteer from 10:10-11:20 to assist with Pre-K through 1st grade and one volunteer form 11:20-1:00 to assist with 2nd through 5th grade.

Lunch Times are:

PreK 10:50-11:20

Kinder 10:20-10:50

1st Grade 10:50-11:20

2nd Grade 11:20-11:50

3rd Grade 12:30-1:00

4th Grade 12:00-12:30

5th Grade 11:50-12:20
