Admin Update
Dear Panther Families,
As we begin our second quarter we are asking parents to remind their students of the Panther pledge to be Respectful, Responsible, and Resourceful. Please ask your Panthers to check in with their teachers if they are concerned about a grade. Also, have students check in with an adult at school if they are having difficulty with another student. It is a life-long skill to self-advocate. Please also remind your Panthers of what we call "The Fab 5"
1. Leave gum at home
2. Remove hats inside
3. Be in dress code.
4. Be on time.
5. Most importantly, cell phones need to be powered off and in backpacks from "bell-to-bell" (8:25am to 2:56pm).
Thank you, as always, for your support,
Your Admin Team

Attention 6th Grade Parents
Dear Sixth Grade Families,
We know that transitioning to middle school can be challenging. Now that we have started our second quarter, sixth graders should have a good understanding of the procedures at Price but it's always good to have a refresher.
Please remind your students that we are respectful to all Price staff and students. We are responsible for our behaviors and we are accountable for our actions and we should be utilizing the academic, social, and emotional resources on campus. Students can reach out to any of their teachers if they need support.
Thank you for your support!
LOST AND NOT FOUND...YET...
We have lots of lost clothing and water bottles. If your student is missing anything, please have them come look in the "lost and found" in the back of the cafeteria.

Reminder
A reminder that we do not accept drop-offs at school, which includes items like homework, shoes, Chromebooks, food, and PE clothes. Our goal is to encourage students to take responsibility for their own belongings and schoolwork.
To support this, each class is equipped with two loaner Chromebooks for students to use, PE provides loaner clothes and shoes when needed, and all students are eligible for free brunch and lunch.
We appreciate your help in fostering this sense of responsibility in our students. Thank you for your understanding!
There's still time to give....

Attendance is critical to student success!
Did you know...
- By 6th grade, absenteeism is one of three signs that a student may drop out of high school.
- By 9th grade, attendance is a better predictor of graduation rates than 8th grade test scores.
ATTENDANCE TIPS
• Talk about the importance of showing up to school every day.
• Help your children maintain daily routines, such as finishing homework and getting a good night’s sleep.
• Try not to schedule dental and non-urgent related medical appointments during the school day.
• Keep your student healthy, and if you are concerned about Covid-19, call your school for advice.
• If your children must stay home because they are sick, make sure they have asked teachers for resources and materials to make up for the missed learning time in the classroom.
