Unified Flag Football
Our Unified Flag Football program began shortly after Spring Break. The program is sponsored by the New York Jets. Our team consists of 21 Special Education and General Education students that embody the Unified idea of inclusivity and acceptance in sport. Last Wednesday, our players and coaches, Mr. Cantwell and Mrs. McGinley, attended a kick-off event at the Jets practice facility in Florham Park.
It was a day of drills and an introduction to the game that was both enjoyable and instructive. Our first game is home against West Orange on Monday April 29th. Come out and support the team!
