BES Parent Weekly Email
November 15, 2024
From the Principal
Parents,
Thank you for another great week at Belton Elementary School!
Just a reminder...Students are considered chronically absent, if they have unexcused absences three days in a row or five days in a nine weeks. We are required to put hold parent conferences, and put students on attendance plans. Please be sure your child is at school every day. If they are sick, be sure the medical or parent note is turned in within the week to be counted as excused.
As always, thank you so much for your support! If we can do anything to assist you, please never hesitate to reach out.
Mr. Fowler

Reminders
Transportation Change
You must call the office if you need to change the transportation for how your child normally gets home. Messaging the teacher on Class Dojo will not work because teachers will most likely not see your message until students are already gone.
Breakfast
If your child is a car rider and would like to eat breakfast at school, please be sure to get them to school as early as possible to give them plenty of time to eat. The hot breakfast line ends at 7:35am. I would suggest getting your child to school before 7:30am to ensure they are getting a hot breakfast, and are not rushed.
Tardy Bell
The tardy bell will ring at 7:45am. Students must be in their classroom by 7:45am in order to not be tardy. Parents must park and walk their child in if they are tardy.
Early Dismissal
Students will not be allowed to be dismissed from class after 2:00pm without administrator approval. Please plan doctor appointments accordingly.
Free Lunch
Breakfast and Lunch are free for all of our students this year!
