Dear Families,

As we approach the middle of September, I wanted to take a moment to recognize the rich cultural celebrations that take place during this time. September 16th marks Mexican Independence Day, a time to honor the history and heritage of Mexico and to reflect on the values of freedom and unity that this day represents.

At Canton, we are committed to fostering a community that celebrates diversity and the unique backgrounds that each of our students and families bring to our school. We encourage you to take this opportunity to explore the traditions and stories behind Mexican Independence Day and to share in conversations about the significance of this day with your student.

We look forward to continuing to build a school community where every student feels seen, respected, and valued. As always, thank you for your ongoing partnership and support.

In Partnership,

Prinicpal Rudden

First Dance of the Year! First Dance of the Year!

Every Minute Matters Every Minute Matters

Attendance plays a crucial role in our students' success, and our goal is to maintain an overall attendance rate of 95% this year.

This week, we reached an attendance rate of 93.1% ☝🏻 We're up from last week!

We’re so close to our goal, and I’m confident that with everyone’s effort, we can reach that 95% mark together. Let’s work as a team to ensure our students are here and ready to learn every day!

At our weekly advisory students talked about attendance and goal setting. When you have a moment take a look at what your student learned in the slides below.
