What's Happening at GKES:
Read-A-Palooza: Parents, guardians and community members are invited to come in to our school the week of March 4-8 to help us celebrate Read Across America Week! Please reach out to your child's teacher if you have some time to come in and share a story with our children. We appreciate your help in nurturing a love of reading with our children.

- Read Across America Spirit Week, March 4-8: See spirit days below! We encourage everyone to participate!
- Our grade level with the highest Attendance for the month of February is 4th Grade!! And our average daily attendance this week was 93%! We want to see our children in school every day when they are not ill. Please reach out to Nurse Farr if you have any questions about whether your child is too sick for school! Thank you for your support!
- Registration for Robotics club for Grades 4-5 has closed. Thank you to everyone for your interest. We hope to expand the club next school year.
- GKES Winter Spirit sales close on Sunday, March 3rd. Please show your school spirit and support our school! We appreciate it! See below for how to order!
- PTO News: Our outdoor movie night featuring 'Wonka' is just around the corner! Please remember to RSVP by March 13th so we can plan accordingly. Can't wait to see you there!
