Welcome Back! School Begins on Thursday, August 29
Dear CVSU Students, Parents, and Families,
I hope you’ve had an incredible summer! It's hard to believe we are just two weeks away from the first day of the 2024-25 school year. As we gear up for the new year, I am excited to welcome new and returning students, families, faculty, and staff to our school community. We're ready for an amazing year focused on academic excellence, social and emotional growth, and community engagement.
For me, it's been an incredible summer. We've put in a lot of work this summer to prepare the schools for the new year. I've had the opportunity to spend lots of time with family. I'm working on a few major home improvement projects that have kept me busy all summer. Oh, I also turned 50 this summer. Here's a picture of me and my wife Laura, celebrating the day at the beach!
We look forward to seeing you on the first day of school,
Superintendent Fedders

Over 200 Campers Participate in CVSU Summer Program
Our CVSU Afterschool program had an incredible summer, serving over 200 campers in Northfield and Williamstown!! We're thrilled that more than 20 Echo Valley campers jumped in to join the fun at our Williamstown camps. What a fantastic summer of growth, learning and adventure!
In just five weeks from July 8 to Aug 9, our summer program was a whirlwind of fun and discovery! From thrilling water slides and lemonade stands to career exploration and outdoor adventures, we packed in excitement every day. Elementary kids dove into mud kitchens and mock Olympics, while teens explored careers, mentored younger campers, and enjoyed the great outdoors.
A huge shoutout to our fantastic CVSU Afterschool Team and Support Staff-your hard work made this summer unforgettable.

Preschool Excitement: A Fantastic Start Awaits!

This year, Williamstown Elementary Preschool program is joining the excitement with its own full-day, full-week preschool program! At our Washington Village Preschool Program, we’re thrilled to announce that our preschool will now run five days a week, from 8 AM to 1 PM. Get ready for an amazing year of growth and learning!
Partnering for Success: Stay Engaged and Make a Difference!
A strong family/school partnership is essential to the success of your children. This year, I encourage you to get involved with your child's school and classroom. Attend events, volunteer, and stay in contact with your child's teachers. Your participation truly makes a difference. Thanks for your ongoing support. Let’s make this school year exceptional together.
