OCTOBER STUDENTS OF THE MONTH

The Character Trait for October is Self Direction.

Self-Direction is the ability and learned skill to cast a vision of future goals and then take intentional steps toward who, where, and what we want to be. Instead of focusing on things to control or avoid, we emphasize our responsibility to make positive choices related to our emotions, attitudes, and actions. Congratulations to the following students for being named October Students of the Month!

Congratulations, Aishani Banerjee and Madi Miller!

We would like to congratulate Aishani Banerjee and Madi Miller on being accepted to the ACDA National Honor Choir! This is the first time in CMS history that any students have been selected for this honor!

CMS Chorus attends SCMEA Midlands Choral Clinic

Students from Mr. Gibbons’s Honors Chorus classes participated in the SCMEA Midlands Choral Clinic. They joined 7 other Midlands Schools in working all day before performing at the Lexington 2 Performing Arts Center.

CONGRATULATIONS, C TEAM CHEER!

This past weekend they brought home another first place finish at the Lake Murray Invitational! These ladies have won 4 competitions in a row!!! Their hard work, countless hours of practice and preparation are really paying off!

C TEAM FOOTBALL defeated the Ben Lippen Falcons last night in a high scoring game, 28-26. This was their last game of the season. They worked hard all season and played some great games! Congratulations to Coach Hefney, his staff, and the team on a winning season. Great job guys!!
