West Haven Highlights

The first day of school will be here before we know it. We are looking forward to having students return for another great year.

Urgent Reminder:

• Every parent/guardian must log in to their power school account to complete the annual registration form. Even returning students will need to have the form signed prior to the start of school.
• Our school website is up and running and has all of the latest information. It is very user friendly. Take a look: Home Page (wsd.net)

• August 19 - Back to School Night from 4:30-6:30

• August 21 - First day of school for all grades

• August 21, 22, and 23 - Early out Days (Dismiss at 12:20)

We want you to know that we are excited and ready to teach your children. Our staff values the students, parents, and this wonderful community. We are looking forward to working together and having a successful year!

Let the planning begin! Did you know WHE turns 20 this year?!? And to celebrate our big birthday we want to plan an EPIC Carnival!! In order for this to be a success —> WE NEED HELP!!! If you’re interested in chairing this event, or being apart of the committee reach out to the PTA. You can reach us here or via our : Westhavenpta@gmail.com! We will be having planning meetings soon!!!

We are so excited to be able to offer 'Girls on the Run' this year. The program is open to all 3-6th graders. It will be coached by three of our staff members who have been trained. It will commence with a 5K at the end of the season. Click the picture to register below.

The Parent/Student handbook has been updated to reflect current policies and procedures of Weber School District and West Haven. Please take a minute to review the handbook and reach out if you have any questions.

Until the option is available in Powerschool to excuse absences, you are welcome to use the form below to also excuse absences. You are also welcome to continue calling in absences. We appreciate the communication with our families.
