Astro March 2025 Update

Dear Families,

We have our first music performance of the year on March 13th with our 1st and 2nd graders. Please check the communication from your student's teacher for more information.

We have 3 more weeks before spring break. We want to do as much learning as possible. We are aware that there are illnesses going around but we want students to be here if they are well enough. Please consult the Too Sick for School guidelines if you are not certain about sending your child to school. The guidelines are attached to this newsletter.

We kindly request that parents do not send treats or snacks to school for birthday celebrations. This promotes inclusivity, healthier choices, and focused learning. Some students have dietary restrictions or allergies that prevent them from enjoying certain treats. By not having treats, we can ensure that valuable class time is not disrupted and that our students can fully engage in their lessons.

Our district now has the ability to make donations and payments electronically.

Please be courteous and not wear or send your students wearing colognes, perfumes or other scents. Colognes/Perfumes/scents, can cause sniffling, dizziness, headaches, nausea and breathing problems for many students/staff members.. Many staff and students have health conditions (asthma, migraines ) that can be triggered by fragrances. NOT using fragrances at Ladd creates a healthier environment for everyone. Thank you!
