Hello HMS Families,

We hope this newsletter finds all of you well. We had such a fun week this week!

Thank you so much for supporting us during the HMS Food Drive. We are so happy to report that our school was able to donate 4,614 items of food to the Clark County Food Bank! Which is amazing!!! We appreciate all of your support in helping us achieve such a high number of donations. Thank you!

We also wanted to express our thank you to this amazing community and the continuous support of our athletic programs at HMS. We had such a huge turnout for our last basketball game on Wednesday. It's always amazing to see so many families cheering on our athletes.

It's the last week before the holiday break. We are very excited for a week full of fun!

Hello Hockinson Families!

We still have some tags left on our giving tree. If you are available to stop by and pick one up, we would appreciate your support. We will have the tree available during Donuts with Santa on Saturday.

We need all wrapped gifts returned by December 17th so that we have enough time to get them to their respective families before winter break.

Our winter band concert is on Thursday, December 19th from 7:00-8:30pm. The concert will take place in the MPR room at Hockinson High School. We hope you will join us for an amazing show!

We are so excited for our upcoming spirit week! We have been preparing the kids about how important it is for everyone to participate because the participation numbers were so close last time. We have our outfits picked out and we are excited to see what everyone comes up with!

We are so thankful to all of our families and athletes for their time and dedication this Winter Season. We will be celebrating our teams and their accomplishments on Tuesday 12/17 from 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm in the main gym for our Winter Sports Awards Ceremony. We will be celebrating all of our winter sports programs and ask that if you are able to make it that you please stay until all programs are acknowledged. We also ask that uniforms be washed and returned to Mrs. Morley in the main office by Tuesday December 17th.

Upcoming - Girls Basketball Registration - (7th & 8th grade students)

Girls Basketball registration is open on FinalForms and tryouts will begin Monday, January 27th. Please make sure that your athlete has a current physical on file, and all forms are signed through FinalForms in order to try out.

Families of 8th graders, please don't forget to go into your Treering account and upload your child's baby picture. We currently don't have a deadline on this, but the sooner you could do this, the better.

We have had requests to create an Instagram account so families can follow us on that platform because they don't use Facebook. So, we are excited to share with you all that we created an Instagram account that is connected to our Facebook page! We are looking forward to connecting with our families using both platforms.

We try to post at least one thing a day! If you are curious what we are up to throughout the day, please consider following our Facebook page. We love to give you all insight to all the amazing things that happen here! We have such an awesome community and it's wonderful to be able to celebrate it!
