Message from RAMS Principal - Heidi George
Dear Roseville Area Middle School Families,
As we near the end of Trimester 1, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on something that is important to all of us—gratitude.
Research has shown that practicing gratitude can have a profound impact on our well-being. Studies suggest that regular expressions of thankfulness are linked to improved mental health, stronger relationships, and even better physical health. Whether it's taking a moment to appreciate the little things in our lives or recognizing the support of those around us, gratitude helps foster a positive mindset and resilience in challenging times.
As your principal, I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to work with such an incredible group of students and families. I am also constantly amazed by the dedication and care shown by our RAMS staff. The RAMS staff put their heart and soul into helping your children thrive every day. We are truly a team, and we couldn't do it without your partnership and support. Thank you for entrusting us with your children's growth and education.
As we move forward into the second trimester, I invite you to take a moment to consider what gratitude means to you. It may look different for each of us—whether it's a moment of quiet reflection, a shared meal, or a kind word to someone you appreciate. Taking a deep breath, living in the present moment, and focusing on what we're grateful for can help us stay grounded and positive.
We’re at a great moment in the school year, and I encourage you to celebrate the progress and growth that both you and your children have made so far. We’re all in this together, and I’m so thankful to be part of this wonderful RAMS community. Together we are stronger!
Learning for ALL,
Heidi George

Every Meal
Dear Parent/Guardian,
Healthy eating is so important for children. At RAMS, we work hard to ensure students receive a healthy breakfast and lunch each day to support their developing brains and bodies. Research shows that children who eat regular, nutritious meals are more likely to attend school and be engaged in learning.
We are excited to partner with Every Meal to offer a free weekend food program to all our students. Every Meal is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization with a mission to fight child hunger through community and school partnerships. They strive to make a difference in children's lives by focusing on food gaps like weekends, school breaks, and summer when they can't receive food in school.
Free for all families
No qualifications required for enrollment
Students enrolled in the program will receive a 4-5 pound bag of nutritious, nonperishable food each week
Every Meal does not collect information from families; privacy is protected. Only Roseville Middle School will house enrollment information.
Families may enroll in the program anytime throughout the school year
Families may choose from a variety of different weekend meal bag options

Estimado Padre/Tutor,

Technology Information
Technology enhances student learning and engagement, but it also has the potential to be distracting. If a student struggles using their iPad appropriately in class, teachers will redirect the student’s behavior. If a student continues to misuse the iPad, the teacher will write a referral and the student will be placed on restriction. A restricted iPad only allows the use of preselected academic websites. If an assignment requires open internet research or to view a teacher-assigned video on YouTube, students can come to the media center to use a computer under supervision to access these resources.
The first violation is a one-month restriction.
The second violation is a three-month restriction.
The third violation is for the remainder of the year.
For more information about behavior expectations and restrictions, see the 1:1 Program Family and Student Guide.
