PARENT PORTALS
District 279 has different parent portals to keep you updated on your students progress, pay for activities, fees, or to add money to a lunch account. They are ParentVue, SmartSchoolK12, and Schoology. ParentVue allows you to see your student's report card, check attendance, view state test scores and more. SmartSchoolK12 allows you to add money to their lunch account, and pay for sports and activities. Schoology lets you see assignments, communicate with teachers, and get our school announcements.
For those that do not have a ParentVue account, the district emailed your activation code to you on August 3. Please check your email for this code to set up your account. Please call the school office if you need assistance. The Schoology log-on information is obtained from one of your child's core teachers.
If you have any question, please contact the school office at

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR INCOMING 7TH GRADE PARENTS
Dear 7th Grade Parents,
This is a reminder to have your student get their 7th grade shots. Per Minnesota Immunization Law, one dose of Tdap is required beginning at 7th grade. If a child received Tdap prior to 7th grade, another dose of Tdap is not needed. One meningococcal dose is also required at the beginning of 7th grade. The booster dose is usually given at 16 years.
