Hello Mustang Nation,

Welcome back to MHS following the holiday break. We are entering the final 1/3 of our semester as we return with two three week sprints, so to speak (3 weeks in December before a holiday break, and 3 weeks when we return after the new year). It is important that students are working as diligently as they can to attend school regularly and complete their work on time in order to receive important graduation credits.

MHS will soon feature a Food Share Table located in the main hallway just outside the cafeteria. Students and staff may deposit unwanted and UNOPENED food at this location for the purpose of helping others who may need a bit more and also to decrease waste. Please see the flyer below for more information. A special thank you to Isabella Frechette and Eliza Rogers for spearheading this program, and also thank you to Linda Parker & Vanessa Richardson from our Nutrition Department for supporting this endeavor.

A few repeat reminders below:

Protocol for Students Experiencing Illness While at School: Many may already know this, but it is always good to share a reminder that the MHS school procedure for students who are experiencing illness while at school requires that students are first assessed by our school nurse, Mrs. Kayla Pazmany-Kinney.

Senior Pictures Deadline: The deadline for Senior Pictures for the Yearbook is fast approaching. Please see the information below in this newsletter - all Senior Pictures must be submitted to the Yearbook staff by Friday, December 20. Submissions can be sent to yearbook1@rsu57.org

Mr. Labbe and several students recently volunteered this past Tuesday at the York County Shelter Program Food Pantry as part of the week long food drive conducted by MHS staff and students.
