Student Activities
We had an amazing May here at Bellerose!
Students had the opportunity to have their art showcased at two local art exhibits and our Arts and Creativity Fair, show off their culinary skills during B-Town Chowdown, and take part in daily inclusive events during Bellerose Pride Week.
It's hard to believe that the end of the school year is almost here. This month we will be hosting our year end student BBQ, 2025 graduation festivities, and outdoor intramurals!
2025-2026 Timetables & Changes
2025-2026 timetables will be available to our students beginning on June 16 at the end of the school day once classes have finished, and will continue to be available for pick up until June 27 in the school office.
Our counsellors will be available by appointment on June 19, 20, and 23 to assist students with making possible timetable changes. Bookings open June 18 at 12:00pm.
Students with the surname A - L can book an appointment with Mrs. Lajoie, via calendly.com/kelly-lajoie.
Students with the surname M - Z can book an appointment with Mr. Beaton, via calendly.com/jeff-beaton.
Schedule changes for our grade 11 & 12 students need to be made BEFORE the end of the school year.
August timetable changes must be scheduled and are ONLY for students who:
Are entering Grade 10
Are entering Grade 11 or 12 and are new to Bellerose
Are entering Grade 11 or 12 who have passed a summer school class and need it to be removed from their schedule
Do not meet the prerequisite or have failed a class
Are requesting to change course streams
August 22 - 8:00 -2:00pm by appointment
August 25 - 8:00 -2:00pm by appointment
August 26 - 8:00 -2:00pm by appointment
August 28 & 29 - NO CHANGES
September 2 - 5 - Special Circumstance Changes ONLY (determined by our school counsellors)
September 5 - Last day for stream changes / option changes

Locker Clean-up
Students will be responsible to have the contents of their locker cleaned out before the last day of classes which is June 16. Prior to students being able to pick up their timetables for next year, they will be required to show a photo of their locker emptied with the lock reattached with the door open. All contents left in lockers after this day will be donated to the local food bank.
Diploma Prep Courses
St. Albert Public Schools is offering Diploma Prep Courses for our division high school students. Register on the PowerSchool Parent Portal.
Bulldog Athletics
Our Bulldog Men’s Rugby 15s Team ended the month of May with an opportunity to defend their 2024 Metro Athletics Division 2 Championship on Wednesday, June 4th at Nor’Westers Athletic Club as they defeated the Tigers from Leduc Composite High School in a thrilling semi final at the St. Albert Rugby Club 33-31. A skilled and strong Scot’s team from Archbishop Jordan awaits our Bulldogs in the Championship Final.
Our Bulldog Women’s Rugby Team completed the 2025 Metro Athletics Division 2 season with a season ending loss to the visiting Titans from Harry Ainlay. Our Bulldogs finished the regular season with a 2-4 record and a four way tie for the final playoff spot and narrowly missed 4th in the tie breaking process.
Our Bulldog Women’s Soccer Team’s season came to an end in the Metro Athletics Division 2 quarter final to the Skyhawks from St. Albert Catholic High School on May 28th.
Our Bulldog Men's Soccer Team earned a spot in the Championship Final next week on June 3rd in Leduc against the host Ohpaho after an impressive 2-1 win over Edmonton Islamic on May 29.
Bulldog Slo-Pitch’s amazing season and after compiling an overall record of 4-0-1 came to an end at the hand of the Legends from Lillian Osborn in the Metro Athletics Division 1 quarter final on May 29th.
A huge congratulations to our Bulldog Track and Field athletes that participated in the Metro Championships at Foote Field on May 22! Special recognition and congratulations to Bulldogs Carsen Wolff, Alexandra Watson and Corbin Allen who qualified to represent Bellerose at the A.S.A.A. Provincial Championships in Calgary on June 6th and 7th.
Our Bulldog Unified Team travelled to Beaumont to compete in the 6th annual Metro Athletics Unified Jamboree hosted by École Secondaire Beaumont Composite High School. Our Bulldogs had an amazing day and made memories that will last a lifetime!
Our Bulldog Men’s Flag Football Team finished their inaugural Metro Athletics regular season at 6-3 and a fourth place finish in the standings. A matchup with the 5th place Rams from St. Francis Xavier on Tuesday, June 3rd at the Edmonton Flag Football Association Fields at 4:45pm looms large with a spot in the semi final on the line.

Student Parking 2025 -2026
Parking pass applications for the 2025 - 2026 school year will be available online through the PowerSchool Parent portal in September 2025. More information will b provided in our summer newsletter.
School Fees
School fees are now past due. Reminder statements have been sent out bi-weekly advising of any outstanding school fees and/or athletic fees. The statements included fees for courses and activities in which your student is currently enrolled in this current semester, and any outstanding balances from the previous semester/years. If you did not receive a statement, but believe you should have school fees owing, please contact the school so that we may confirm your contact information.
Outstanding school fees on your students account could potentially impact their ability to participate in various school activities. We ask that you make every effort to keep your students' accounts up current.
How to make a payment:
Through the PowerSchool Parent Portal using a credit card or visa debit card.
In the school office by cash, cheque, debit or credit card.
By calling the school office and providing credit card information.
**Please note that debit/credit transactions made through the portal, in person or over the phone, are all subject to a 2.4% service charge.

Returning Library Books & Textbooks
It's that time of the school year when all Library books and TEXTBOOKS, including ELA (English Language Arts) Novels will be required to be returned.
Library books are due on the last day of classes, June 16, at 2pm.
ALL TEXTBOOKS, including ELA NOVELS are due on or by the day the subject exam is written. Textbooks are not to be kept for use at Outreach, Summer School or upcoming 2025-26 classes.
With the ongoing construction, there will be no opportunities to return items after school ends on June 30.
All books are due at the Library. Please check with us if you need confirmation of your check-outs and check-ins.

Dual Credit
Our semester two dual credit courses are wrapping up with many successful students completing their post-secondary courses with flying colours! If you are thinking about Dual Credit for the Fall be sure to talk with Mrs. Pearson. Work Experience/RAP
As we get close to the end of the year, it is important Work Experience and RAP students get their timesheets and evaluations in to Mrs. Pearson if they wish to get credits for their hours worked!
Students hoping to do Work Experience or RAP over the summer must chat with Mrs. Pearson as soon as possible! They can also fill out this quick form linked to the QR code:
Trades Opportunity
There is also a great opportunity coming up this summer through The Educational Partnership Foundation (TEPF) for students interested in exploring the skilled trades! This program offers hands-on experience, theory work, and several certifications that help students become highly employable! We can also award high school credits for participation in the program.
Building Futures
Our Building Futures house is almost complete! The grade ten students have worked hard this year on the construction of the home while learning academics in their garage classroom and growing in their soft skills.
We’re currently working on finalizing next year’s Building Futures crew, with our new build happening in Cherot for the 2025/2026 school year!
IPP/ILP signoff
For those families with students' with IPPs or ILPs, please note - the final copies will be sent home by email in the first week of June(2nd-6th). Please check your email, review it, and add your digital signature.
