Principal's Message
Dear iFlagler families,
As we welcome the month of October, I want to take a moment to extend a huge thank you to all of you for your dedication and support during our recent state testing. Your commitment to ensuring that your students were present and prepared made a significant difference in their performance. We truly appreciate your partnership in their education!
Please be sure to read this month’s newsletter in its entirety, as it is packed with important information you won’t want to miss. Highlights include a reminder to all families in grades 6 - 12 are reminded to complete the Google Form link for permission for your students to participate in Fortress Fridays—a fantastic opportunity for engagement and learning!
Additionally, we are excited to announce our upcoming Fall Festival! We hope to see everyone there for a morning of fun, games, and community spirit—details are below. Be sure to scroll all the way through the newsletter.
I’d also like to remind everyone that October 11th marks the end of the first nine weeks. Students must be 50% complete in all classes by this date. If your child is currently below 20% complete in any class, they will be dropped from that course this week. Any student below 20% complete in 3 or more classes will be considered for permanent removal from the virtual program. If this situation applies to you, please reach out to iFVS Assistant Principal Scott Bannon, or myself to discuss a plan for reinstatement.
Lastly, we have rescheduled our School Advisory Council (SAC) meeting for Wednesday, October 9th, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. We encourage you to join us either in person or via Google Meet using the following link: SAC Meeting Link. Your input is invaluable as we work together to support our students’ success.
Thank you once again for your ongoing support and commitment to our school community. Let’s make this month a great one!
Warm regards,
Principal Quinn
