Clever Family,

I hope you all had a wonderful summer and were able to spend quality time with family and friends. As we begin another school year, I’m thrilled to welcome everyone back to what promises to be an exciting and productive year ahead.

Our amazing staff has been hard at work, ensuring that everything is ready to greet our students when they return on Tuesday, August 20. We are eager to once again see our hallways filled with the energy and enthusiasm of our students.

Before the school year officially begins, I’d like to remind you of our upcoming Open House on Thursday, August 15, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. This will be a great opportunity for students and families to meet teachers, see classrooms, and get ready for the new year. Please check the Open House section in the newsletter below for more detailed information.

This is truly an exciting time for the Clever R-V School District. Thanks to the unwavering support of our community, we are now in the initial stages of our highly anticipated building project. Planning and preparation are underway, and we are hopeful to break ground by the end of the year. To keep everyone informed, we have established a dedicated section on our website where you can follow the progress of the project. We will be updating it regularly as we move through the various stages. You can find the link to this resource on our website here under the “Construction Zone” heading.

Some of our fall sports teams have already begun practices, and we are eagerly looking forward to all our extracurricular activities being in full swing. Excitement for the upcoming year is in the air, and I can’t wait to see our students return, ready to learn, grow, and achieve great things.

This year we will be sharing notes from our monthly board of education meetings in our community newsletter. Click the link button below to see notes from our August board meeting.

The design team and Clever administrators have continued working on our building project. In the next few weeks, there will be a final presentation on the design development. We will then go out to bid in September. Below are some preliminary renderings from our architect. You can also find these renderings and other information regarding our building project on our website under "Construction Zone". We will continue to update our progress there.

We've had several things going on this summer! A few of our renovations include creating a hallway between the reading area and the OT/PT area in what used to be our old cafeteria on the elemiddle campus, coverting the old weight room at the middle school into a much needed classroom, and resurfacing several of our parking lots.

Please join us for Open House on Thursday, August 15, from 5-7 pm. Do you have youger children? Be sure to read the PAT flyer below! PAT will have a tabel set up in the FEMA during open house. Stop by and see them!

• Incoming 6th grade students and new middle school students are invited to attend a Kick Start meeting offered at 4:15 pm and again at 7:00 pm.

• Incoming Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors should arrive between 6:00 pm - 6:45 pm.

Information regarding our meal service program along with free/reduced meal applications can be found on our website at this link. You will also be able to access the free/reduced meal application through your parent portal in Lumen. Paper copies will also be sent home the first day of school. The 2024-25 meal prices are listed below.
