The Renner Review
January 2024
Howdy Renner Roadrunner Families!
Happy New Year and welcome back! Students, teachers and staff have been busy this 2024 adjusting to many changes at Renner Academy. Over the Winter Break new offices and classrooms were added to the school. We also had to say goodbye to one of our own, Mrs. Nichole Harrison. We are all sad to see her go and she will be greatly missed. However, 2024 has brought with it the addition of two new teachers to Renner Academy, Ms. Lauren Ott and Ms. Kingslea Hale. Please take a look at their bios below to find out more about each.
Don't forget about the upcoming Denim and Dazzle Gala on February 24. See the flyer and information below for more details. Tickets are currently on sell through February 17 and can either be purchased directly from the school or by using the link provided in the below flyer. Hope to see you all there!
And as always, it's a great day at RA!
GIVE TODAY-SHAPE TOMORROW
WOULD YOU LIKE TO GIVE?
As a new and growing non-profit, specialized private school, Renner Academy’s total operating budget consists solely of student tuition and individual donations and contributions. Having an educational environment rich in multisensory learning resources that integrates auditory, visual, tactile and kinesthetic learning makes a difference, especially to our students with dyslexia and other language-based learning differences. Your donation will directly impact our students' educational success. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
The Roadrunner Rave of the Month is Jack Gilleland from Mrs. McFarland's Advisory group!
Jack Gilleland has been selected as the Roadrunner Rave of the Month for his exceptional qualities of cooperation, a positive attitude, and a strong willingness to learn. Jack consistently demonstrates a remarkable work ethic and eagerness to engage in the learning process. His positive demeanor not only contributes to a harmonious learning environment but also inspires his peers. Jack's dedication and enthusiasm make him a standout student, and this recognition is well-deserved. Congratulations to Jack Gilleland for embodying the qualities that make an exemplary Roadrunner!
WAY TO GO JACK. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK! YOU ARE ROCK'N IT RENNER ROADRUNNER!
Farewell Mrs. Harrison
Renner Academy would like to say farewell to one of our own, Mrs. Nicole Harrison. Due to her husband's acceptance of a new job Mrs. Harrison will be relocating to Jacksonville, TX. We wish you luck on your journey and a successful move. You will be deeply miss among the Roadrunner Family.
