🖐️TVUSD Community High Five: Sina Albertoni, TLES K-5 Intervention Specialist
"Appreciation can make a day, even change a life. Your willingness to put it into words is all that is necessary." - Margaret Cousins
The TVUSD Community High Five Program is designed to empower and encourage the community to acknowledge and appreciate the dedicated employees of the district. This program serves as a platform for parents, students, and local residents, to recognize and celebrate the relentless commitment and hard work put forth by district employees.
Fill out this quick form, and the Communications Department will create and send a digital certificate to the employee for their hard work. As an added recognition, one employee will be selected each month as a "Community High Five Spotlight," and their shout-out will be recognized in a future edition of the Community Connection.
Let us know!
As TVUSD begins planning for the 25/26 school year, we would appreciate it if you could take a moment to let us know if your child(ren) WILL NOT be returning for next school year. If your student(s) will be continuing their enrollment within any TVUSD school, there is no need to complete the questionnaire. We appreciate your time. The school sites will be reaching out to families with the formal withdrawal process.

🌟 CAC Connections Award
What is the CAC Connections Award?
The TVUSD Community Advisory Committee (CAC) will be hosting an awards ceremony to recognize and show appreciation for individuals who have exemplified excellence. We are relying on community members, staff, parents, and students to identify those individuals who deserve to be honored for their efforts.
Any student with an IEP that attends school in TVUSD can be nominated!
➡️ Use this 🔗 link to nominate deserving individuals who are outstanding examples of character, students who help set an example for others, and go out of their way to make some special connections with their teachers and peers. Some other qualities these nominees might possess would be courage, perseverance, a positive attitude, independence, resilience, kindness, and dedication.
🚴 E-Bike Safety Update
These videos are near misses to horrific tragedies. The City of Temecula wholeheartedly supports getting outside, being active, and having fun. However, too many young e-bike and e-motorcycle riders do not have experience navigating through traffic and are engaging in risky roadway behavior, creating safety issues for everyone. So, here is our message:
Parents/Guardians:
Please keep in mind, you are liable for your child’s actions on an e-bike, e-motorcycle, or any form of activity. We urge you to remind your child about roadway safety and the dangerous consequences of reckless riding.
Youth:
You must follow the laws and rules of the road. These laws will be enforced for your safety. We do not want to see anyone get injured, or worse. Remain alert of drivers, pedestrians, and bicyclists.
Drivers:
As always, please be attentive when driving and remain cognizant of young cyclists.
What’s the City doing?
In addition to ongoing education/outreach, we continue to build safe cycling infrastructure and enforce the law, including impounding illegal motorized bikes. We encourage parents and kids to attend our E-Bike Safety Workshops hosted by Temecula's Sherriff's Office. The next one is Wednesday, April 9th, 6-7:30pm at the Temecula Public Library, noted below.
