Welcome to May!
It is hard to believe we are in the last month of school. We would like to thank all of our parents, students, families, PTC, and community partners for making this year so successful! You ROAR!
Our students have worked really hard to learn new skills and prepare for the next school year. I am very proud of how you have worked so hard to support our Tigers. We appreciate you!
This month brings a lot of fun activities such as water day, performances, and closing out the school year. Please continue to be on time and in class everyday so our Tigers don't miss out. We also prepare to say goodbye half of our 5th graders as they move on to other schools, but remember Once a Tiger, always a Tiger!
Thank you for another amazing year at Gale! It has been a pleasure getting to serve all of you. I wish you all the very best this summer! Enjoy extra time with our beloved Tigers!

TAX CREDIT

OPEN ENROLLMENT & 5th GRADE FAMILIES
We STILL have students who have not registered for next school year. Students cannot be assigned teachers until they are registered for the 24-25 school year. This is especially important for our 6th Grade Expansion as slots filled will determine how many teachers are assigned to Gale.

Our upcoming family engagement focus group provides vital information and parent perspective which helps drive Gale’s future family engagement goals. CHARACTER STRONG & TIGER TRAITS
Character Strong and Tiger Traits are basically character traits we teach and encourage children to use in order to help them be more successful students and members of our society.
You can support our efforts by discussing the meaning of each trait and the role it plays in your child’s life. It is important for you to notice and recognize your child as s/he practices using their traits even at home.
Every week we highlight a different trait. This month's Character Strong and Tiger Traits are Creativity, Curiosity, and Problem Solving.

Happy May, Tiger Families,
Wow! I can't believe we are nearly done with this school year! This month, we will continue to work on kindness, empathy, and respect. I will facilitate lessons on summer safety, emotions, and transitions to Middle School.
Please remind your students about Tiger Tokens. Tiger Tokens are a great way to promote school-wide positivity and finish the year with encouragement and respect.
Reflecting on my time in the Gale community, I am filled with gratitude. The students, teachers, staff, and families have all left an indelible mark on my heart, and I am a better counselor because of you. As we look ahead to the next school year, I am confident that Gale will continue to thrive with the new school counselor, who is a wonderful addition to our community.
