LPS Yearbooks
If you ordered a yearbook, they are about to be delivered to the school. (Remember the yearbook covers the entire school K-12 so elementary is featured but in a small fashion.)
- In person students will simply receive theirs from their teacher.
- Online students that ordered a yearbook will be able to pick up their books at the Secondary building, front desk starting Friday, May 21.
- We do have enough books for last minute sales – they are $50 and can be ordered online by visiting the Leadership Prep Josten's site here. The final day for online sales is 5/25.
- Please note, we only have a set number of copies available online and they are first come, first served. Online ordering is recommended as soon as possible. The website will alert you if we are sold out.
- There is a digital signing option for all students, you can learn more about it here.
Uniform Drive during May
In the month of May, a group of parents will be collecting outgrown uniforms for a uniform drive. The uniforms will be available for browsing and shopping at the beginning of the next school year. Funds raised will go to LPS.
Starting May 3rd, please look for cars with signs indicating uniform drop off in the back parking lot (east side of church) during after school pickup.

Leave a Legacy at LPS?
Leadership Prep School is sponsoring a brick campaign to provide on-going support for the purchase of equipment, supplies, and other resources that contribute to the excellence of the computer-immersion and project-based learning programs for LPS students.
By purchasing a brick, you have the opportunity to have your child's name or family name engraved on a brick that will be installed in front of the Secondary Campus building.
COST OF EACH BRICK: $75 includes 16 characters per line for up to three lines of engraving.
The order form for personalized bricks can be accessed on MySchoolBucks.com by clicking on “School Store” then “Browse All items” then “Personalized Brick”.
The order for this year's bricks will take place on June 1st, so order now.
Do you love our staff?
Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week is May 3-7 (our Lion's Pride PTO celebrated us this week due to testing constraints starting next week) and the end of the year is approaching too. So if you would like to show your love and appreciation to them at any point, the PTO has a resource with their favorite things to help you. But also, never underestimate the power of your kind words and sincere thanks!
We are so thankful for our amazing families and all you do to help us be the PLACE to be!

Kelly Skinner's After Hours Program
Does your child need after school care and supervision? Help with homework? The AFTER HOURS program at our secondary campus has EXPANDED to include any student from elementary or secondary.
Kelly Skinner runs this program independently of the school, and is an LPS mom who loves our school and students. She substitutes regularly and has been very involved in multiple school activities over the past four years. Elementary students will be walked down to the secondary building by Mrs. Skinner after they are released for the day. The classroom at secondary is currently not in use during the school day as it is assigned to an online teacher.
AFTER HOURS is available for early release days and some Full Staff Development days. During the day your child can expect to play games, complete homework, have chrome book time, play outside or in the gym when available, do art projects, science experiments, and watch a G rated movie on full days. Students need their own snack and water, on full days they also need a lunch from home. We follow all of the normal LPS COVID policies, and pick up is at the Secondary building south parking lot (regular drop off and pick up area).
Please contact Kelly Skinner directly to sign up!
