A Note From Principal Gerrish:

Dear DewingFamilies:

Our work at the Dewing School continues to evolve as new information is shared. We are working hard on logistics and scheduling as well as our Remote Learning practices.

In the next few weeks, there is something you can do to support your child. Please reinforce proper hand washing (video below), social distancing and mask wearing. Also, consider instilling the importance of resilience (video below), a skill we all need in this new world.

Cohorts, Student Homerooms & Supply Lists....Oh My!

We at the Dewing School, as well as all of the Tewksbury Public Schools, are working hard to plan for a very different school year. With school starting in a hybrid model, students will be divided into two different cohorts. While that process is still being worked on, you can expect to hear more information in the near future. In general, students whose last names begin with letters A-K will be in Cohort A, and attend school in-person on Mondays and Tuesdays. Those whose last names begin with L - Z will be in-school on Thursdays and Fridays. All students will learn remotely on Wednesdays. If you have specific questions, please email Terry or Alexis.

Homeroom lists should be finished and shared with families on or about September 9th. Kindergarten lists will take a bit longer, and should be ready by September 14th.

Here is a link for suggested school supplies for all grades. You will note that we have purchased basics for all.
