A Message From the Principal
Dear Vistas Families,
Wishing all of our Mom's a Happy Mother's Day!
As we approach the final weeks of the school year and wrap up testing, our focus shifts to strong academic performance and finishing the year with success.
Please take time to review the final exam schedule carefully. Students who are required to take final exams must be present on the day of their exam. Absences on exam days will result in a zero for the exam unless cleared through appropriate procedures.
We have also included the exam exemption criteria and the timeline for exemption card distribution for your reference. It is important that students understand the requirements and deadlines associated with the exemption process.
For our graduating seniors, you’ll find details about the upcoming Vistas Clap Out and information related to your home campus graduation ceremonies.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our team. We deeply value our partnership with you and are honored to be part of your student’s educational journey.
Thank you for your continued support.
Warm regards,
Sarah Deckard
Principal, Vistas High School
Vistas Early College High School
🎓 A Historic Milestone for Vistas ECHS!
On Friday, May 9th, our inaugural class of Vistas Early College High School students proudly walked the stage, earning their Associate Degrees from Lone Star College—before even graduating high school!
This was no easy feat. The students in this photo represent hard work, determination, and resilience. Being the first class of a brand-new program is never simple, but this group took the reins and led with grace, style, and courage.
We are incredibly grateful for the leadership they’ve shown, the clubs and organizations they’ve built, and the legacy they leave behind. Their journey wasn’t easy—but as we told them from the start: It wouldn’t be easy, but it would be worth it.
And it was.
We are beyond proud of each and every one of these amazing Vikings!
