Our CCA Fun Run kicked off Friday, May 3, 2024! This year, our school is raising funds for the Art Studio Makeover. Our goal is to raise $25,000, and, if you’d like to, we are inviting YOU to help!

K-4 from 1:15 to 2:15 pm

5-8 from 2:15 to 3:15 pm

The CCA Spring Art and Music Festival will be held in the gym the evening of Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 6 pm. This document has the information that you will need to know about this event if your student is performing! We are hoping that all of our music students will be able to attend this evening festival to perform!

Art viewing will be in the main lobby/foyer area to cafeteria.

We want to celebrate our 8th Graders!

To celebrate 8th grade graduation, we have teamed up with a vendor to create "Class of 2024" T-Shirts.

We wanted to find out how many parents and guardians are interested in purchasing shirts for their graduates. The price is $15 per shirt. Drop off cash or checks made payable to CCA to Mr. Leins by 8 am on Tuesday, May 14th. Please make sure to complete this form by Tuesday, May 14th at 8 am if you are ordering a shirt. Class shirts will be distributed during the last week of school.

In addition to our CCA Library being open on select Wednesdays throughout the summer, Ms. Lanyi has put together a Summer Reading Opportunities slideshow with all of the information you need for summer reading!

We want to hear from you! What is going well? What questions, concerns, or comments do you have? Interested in joining a committee or getting involved some other way? Please let us know here and we will work to address your questions in upcoming newsletters and/or in 1:1 communication. Fill out this form!

Earn volunteer hours by providing snacks to the CCA staff every Monday. Store bought items equal one volunteer hour, and homemade items count as 2 volunteer hours. Sign up one week before you will bring snacks. We love taking care of our teachers and staff!

Skate City is offering Skate for $1 Admission All Summer Long. Buy a Skate City Summer Card through the link below for $5. Cherry Creek Academy PTO receives $2 back for each card sold! Summer cards at Skate City are sold for $12 so this is a $7 dollar savings in addition to providing a donation to the PTO. Cards are also valid Saturday and Sunday through September. (Skate rental and adult night sessions are not included).

Open Position - New Family Breakfast Chair

• Works with VP Community Relations to plan the menu and craft for the New Family Breakfast which will be at Westlands Park on Saturday, August 17
• Orders/bring to the event- food, drink and craft items - purchases will be reimbursed
• Requires 1-2 planning meetings (in person or virtual) and attendance at the event from approximately 9am - 1pm

• Add CCA Fundraising for King Soopers to your personal account- 1 volunteer hour
