Parents,

I wanted to let you know that our wonderful secretary, Kelly Renshaw, received a promotion and started the Monday after Spring Break at the secondary campus. She is now the registrar for them. I know how much we all loved her and her personality as you visited our office. Please know that I have 2 great long term subs working up front with Mrs. Scott while we diligently look for a replacement. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.

Jimmy John's and Chick-fil-a ordering is now open for April! Please visit myschoolbucks.com to order. Be sure to select the correct student when ordering, changes cannot be made. Jimmy John's will be offered on Mondays and is available on the following Mondays in April: 4/1, 4/8, 4/15, 4/22 & 4/29. Chick-fil-a will be offered on Thursdays and is available on the following dates in April: 4/4, 4/11, 4/18 & 4/25. Ordering will close on March 26th.

Now, in addition to your favorites from Chick-fil-a, we've added grilled chicken nuggets to the options.

LPS will be open and we will have school on Monday April 8. We have been preparing for this day and are very excited to share with the students. On Thursday 3/28 a permission slip will come home with your student for them to be able to participate in the eclipse. It is mandatory that you return the permission slip by Thursday 4/4 in order for them to participate. All students and staff will be provided glasses. We are looking for parent volunteers for this event. Please reach out to your child's teacher if you would like to help with this event in the parking lot for roughly 15-20 mins. If your child opts out then there will be an alternate assignment inside the building.

On April 9 3rd and 4th graders will be taking the Reading STAAR test. On April 23 they will be taking the Math STAAR test. The campus will be closed to all parents and deliveries on these days. No visitors will be allowed on campus either as we will be a closed campus for testing. More information will be sent out the night before to remind all parents.
