I hope this email finds you enjoying the summer sunshine and perhaps a slower pace! I am thrilled to write to you all to share this exciting news. After a laborious three year journey, Aspen Elementary School has achieved the official authorization as a Primary Years Programme within the International Baccalaureate.
This milestone brings an exciting new chapter for our school. One that is focused on student agency and ownership of their learning, development of approaches to learning that give our students the tools to be lifelong learners and the embodiment of the learner profile.
To achieve this status required a combined effort among our students, staff, families and community partners. A special thank you to the Aspen Education Foundation whose fundraising efforts support the IB programmes in the Aspen School District.

Take care!
