Reminders and Updates from Dr. Bonneau
Parents and Students: It is imperative students do not bring prohibited items to campus. This can include prescription medication, over the counter medication, pocket knives or other weapons, BB/pellet guns, etc. There are real consequences for bringing these items on campus, even if it's not intentional.
Parent ID/Entering the building: Anyone entering the building must show identification at the front door to be buzzed in. Photos and copies of IDs will not be accepted. Please bring your actual identification card with you to the door.

“Become a Hero of the Hallways!”
Calling all dads and positive male role models! Legacy High School needs YOU to be the eyes, ears, and heart of our school for just one day a month or even a week. Did you know that 1 in 4 children in the U.S. grow up without a father figure at home? Kids without strong male role models are more likely to struggle academically, face behavioral issues, and are statistically more likely to drop out of school. Additionally, 85% of youth in prison grew up in a fatherless home, and 80% of school shooters come from similar backgrounds.
By volunteering a half or full day of your time, you can make a profound difference in the lives of our students. If just five of us commit to the same day each week, we could fill this calendar completely! Whether you can give time once a week or once a month, your presence can help create a positive and supportive environment for our students.
For any questions, please call or text Chad Lovell at 817.422.6122. Let’s step up and be the change our kids need! To sign up, please go to the following link

MISD Parent Hub for Social Emotional Learning
Social and Emotional Learning in MISD is Relational Practices. Relational Practices assist in the ability to understand and manage emotions, set and achieve goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions. Along with our mission to support students, empower teachers, and collaborate with administrators, we want to partner with parents to meet the needs of your children at home. The purpose of this site is to provide resources and support as you navigate through the journey of raising kids in the 2020s. Click here to access the MISD Parent Hub for Social Emotional Learning.
As part of Vision 2030, MISD is helping students become life, college and career ready through our student scorecards. Ask your student to log into Edugence and see what they have been working on!
