Vol. 3 Issue 41
Hello Newcomb Families and Friends-
It's that time again. I can not believe it we have four more days of school. I have streamlined this weeks Newcomb News to include only the essential information. In it you will find all the information you need for the last 4 days of school. Please be sure to pay attention to updates coming from teachers and room parents too. You will also find details about the closing of school, the summer schedule and the opening of the office and start of school in August.
School Site Council Parent Update- Anaiah Younger will be joining School Site Council next year. We are still short one parent position. We will hold another election in the Fall to fill that spot.
I am looking forward to celebrating our 5th graders on Tuesday, our TK and Kindergarten classes on Wednesday and our 8th graders as they promote to high school on Thursday. It is going to be a really fun week. The Last Day of School will be a minimum day, 1:00 pm dismissal.
**Please see the parking map- Street Sweeping ticketing will be suspended on these streets the morning of 6/13. You will hear and see the Street Sweeper in the area but they will not be giving tickets in these highlighted locations.
Please be prepared for heavy traffic and limited parking on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
GO SPARTANS!
Chris
