Summer Reading is Important!
Summer Reading Bingo Challenge
Students can boost their literacy skills all summer long with these fun activities. Click on their current grade level below, NOT the one that they will be in in the fall. Have them go for five in a row or try to fill the whole board! Return the completed board to either Ms. Trainer or Ms. Ergler in the fall for a treat.

Summer Reading Lists
The ALSC (Association for Library Services to Children) has compiled summer reading lists for children aged anywhere from infant through eighth grade. You may access these lists here.
Fairfax County Public Library Summer Reading Program
Join FCPL for the Summer Reading Festivals. There are two festivals: June 15th at the Woodrow Wilson Library and August 18th at Chantilly Regional Library. There will be games, crafts, face painting, a petting zoo, and more!

Did you know that all FCPS students automatically have accounts at Fairfax County Public Libraries? It is through the LEAP (Library Equity Access Pass) Program. Students just have to give their names at the checkout desk. They may check out up to three items at a time for six weeks. For more information on this program click here.
Here is a link to Overdrive Kids for eBooks. Kids can download eBooks from the FCPL and read them on their devices.
Barnes and Noble Summer Reading Program

Pizza Hut- Book It Program
Help beat the summer heat and enroll in Camp Book It! Students earn one personal pan pizza a month for June through August for meeting their reading goals!
