ALL-CHORUS CONCERT - MARCH 6
Chorus students from the high school, middle school and Jordan/Jackson will be performing on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 6:30 PM at Mansfield High School. Everyone is welcome to join us for the concert. It is free to the public.
Chorus students should arrive at the high school at 6:00 PM and meet in the auditorium. We will set students up on the risers and run through a song or two before the concert begins.
Chorus members should wear their green chorus t-shirts for this performance.
MESA is offering two hands-on science nights!
Choose one - March 4 or March 7
Vocabulary Parade is on its Way!
During the week of March 4th, Read Across America week, your child will be participating in a school-wide vocabulary parade. Students will be assigned a word to represent along with a piece of white construction paper to decorate. Look for more information and construction paper coming home this week. See few examples below. Costumes to express the vocabulary words are optional. Can't wait to share photos of this event in future newsletters. Stay tuned!

Meteorologist Jacob Wycoff Visits Jordan/Jackson!
Emmy Award winning meteorologist, Jacob Wycoff, shared his expertise with Jordan/Jackson 5th graders! They learned many things about weather and climate. Students discovered the power of drone technology involving whales. There was a lot of #stem learning going on during this interactive presentation. What an exciting opportunity for our students.
iCARE Disability Awareness Program
We would like to thank Kim Piro for organizing the iCARE program again this year. We look forward to it every year! Mrs. Lee Tighe, a recently retired Jordan/Jackson fifth grade teacher, read to Mrs. Shruhan's fourth grade class. Click on the pictures below to see a few of our volunteers!

Please join us on May 9th 5:30-7:30 at MHS for our district wide art show. See our whimsical Winter Wonderlands along with additional Fairy Tale themed art pieces designed by students K-12.

Important Note for 5th Grade Families
All 5th grade students will receive a FREE yearbook courtesy of MESA, so there is no need to order. You still have the option to personalize the yearbook cover with your student's name for $5. Simply return the bottom half of the flyer to your student's classroom with cash or a check made payable to MESA.
LUNCH/RECESS MONITORS NEEDED !!!
Proposed Start Date: Immediate
Hours: 10:30am - 1:00pm
Responsibilities include:
- Monitor students Grades 3-5 during lunch and indoor/outdoor recess
- Implement appropriate cafeteria and recess health and safety protocols
- Provide active and engaging supervision of students at recess to ensure safety
- Maintain a positive playground environment while promoting positive interactions between students
- Assist students with cafeteria lunch line, appropriate behavior, and student disposal of trash
- Five day availability preferred
