Demo Family Memo
March 14th, 2025

Principal Message
Dear Jefferson High School Families, Staff, and Students,
I wanted to take a moment to extend a heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you for your incredible support and enthusiasm during an unforgettable time for our Lady Demos. Your presence and energy meant so much to the team, and I couldn’t be prouder to be part of this amazing community.
A huge congratulations to our Lady Demos for finishing 3rd in the state of Oregon! What an outstanding achievement. Their dedication, hard work, and teamwork have left us with a story we will carry with us for years to come. It was truly a memorable journey, and I am so grateful to have had the chance to witness it all.
This Wednesday, during our Rose Festival Assembly, we will be honoring all of our state qualifiers, including those who helped bring our Lady Demos to this remarkable level of success. Please join us in celebrating their achievements!
I also want to give a special shoutout to our student section. Your energy and support were essential to our team’s success, and I am thrilled to see the growing pride and spirit in our school. Let’s continue this momentum and build an even stronger Jefferson cheering section for all future athletic events.
Thank you as well to the District Office for your assistance with ticketing and transportation, and to our partners at Andersen Construction—specifically Joel Andersen—for your continued support of our school. You truly are champions in our community, and we are deeply grateful for your ongoing commitment to our students.
Lastly, a huge thank you to our Jefferson teachers and staff. It’s because of your flexibility and dedication that we were able to adjust plans and show up in full force to support our Lady Demos. Your willingness to rearrange schedules and cheer from the stands speaks volumes about the spirit of unity that defines our school.
This past week has been a testament to how connected we truly are as a community. I am incredibly proud to be your principal, and I look forward to what the future holds for our Jefferson family.
With appreciation,
Drake Shelton
Principal, Jefferson High School
