Good Afternoon VME Families!

We had a wonderful Literacy Week here at VME! Thank you for participating! To see highlights from the week please visit our social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, and X).

If you are dropping off your child at school please ensure you are using car line. If you prefer to park, please be sure that you are walking your child to the main crosswalk where Mrs. Ruha is located. If you are arriving late, you must walk your child to the front office for late check in. We have seen an increase of families dropping children off in the parking lot. This is unsafe, we do not have adults monitoring the parking.

As we move into the month of February, Kindness Month, we ask that you facilitate family conversations about being kind (using kind words, kind hands, and the "Golden Rule"-treat others how you want to be treated). As Patriot Leaders we are all responsible for our words and actions! VME staff are always here to support our leaders, please encourage your child to speak with an adult if they encounter unkind behaviors at school. Be on the lookout for some fun VME Kindness Month activities!

The School Advisory Council (SAC) is a school-based group intended to represent the school, the community and the students. The group shares responsibility for guiding the school toward continuous improvement. The School Advisory Council is responsible for final decision making at the school relating to the implementation of the provisions of the annual School Improvement Plan (SIP).

School Advisory Council (SAC) meetings are held in the VME Media Center from 5:30-6:30 PM.
